Instructions for submitting an asbestos sample:

- Collect the sample
- Requirements:
- Does not need to be larger then the size of a quarter
- Each individual sample (approximately the size of a quarter) needs to be put into a separate sealable container (plastic baggies work well)
- Each sample needs to be labeled correctly so that we can reference it on your report.
- Complete the chain of custody form
- Thoroughly completing the chain of custody form will insure a detailed lab report.
- Send the sample to us:

Please Note:
- It is a good idea to use water when taking any samples because there might be asbestos fibers in it.
- Each sample must be sealed in a properly labeled plastic baggies to prevent cross contamination.
- Payment will be required prior to the release of the lab report.
- Taking your own samples can increase your liability, generate inaccurate results, and lead to costly fines from state and local governments (due to incorrect sampling practices). We strongly recommend that all samples taken in anything other than a residential (single family, owner occupied home) setting are done either through our Asbestos Building Inspection service or by an in house (member of your staff), accredited, and knowledge, building inspector.
- These instructions are used for our Asbestos testing only service.
